General Provisions.
Regulations for users.
The ticket/voucher:
- The ticket/voucher is nominative, non-transferable, and non-refundable; it may only be used by the holder. Use by anyone other than the holder, or use in violation of the holder's normal usage, authorizes the Teleférico Cerro Otto Mountain Complex to immediately confiscate the ticket and will automatically terminate the contract for the tickets issued, without the need for any prior notice or appeal, and without the need for any claim. The user will then lose all rights associated with the ticket. If the ticket is intended for use by third parties (other than the holder), whether or not they are members of the holder's family, to access the cable car, it will be confiscated immediately, and the service will not be permitted again.
- The delivery of the ticket to third parties is prohibited.
- The alteration and/or falsification of the ticket is prohibited. Should such conduct be verified, the Teleférico Cerro Otto Mountain Complex reserves the right to immediately revoke the ticket, resulting in the user forfeiting all rights and automatically terminating the ticket contract without prior notice or appeal.
- The Teleférico Cerro Otto Cable Mountain Complex is not responsible for theft, robbery, damage, loss, or misplacement of the ticket. In any of these cases, the user must purchase a new ticket at the current public price.
- The Complex staff may cancel and/or withdraw the ticket at any time and place in case of use contrary to morality and good customs or if, in their sole discretion, the user engages in risky behavior, including that which endangers the physical integrity of other people.
- Minors under 18 years of age may ascend with an adult companion.
PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR WHO NEED ANY TYPE OF SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: RESPONSIBLE COMPANION:
ASCENT: People with a Unique Disability Certificate (CUD); with children under 6 years of age; with crutches, canes, etc., or advanced pregnancy, will be able to ascend and enjoy our complex as long as the operation of the means of lift is NORMAL.
- The Sara María Furman Foundation, by its own decision, grants free rides on the Teleférico Cerro Otto to people with a CUD (Unique Disability Certificate). IN ALL CASES, the beneficiary must be accompanied by a direct adult companion, who will pay the ticket window fare in effect at that time.
- In the case of normal operation of the lifting device, according to current regulations, the person with a disability or anyone who needs special assistance (lower limb with a cast; cane; use of crutches, etc.); advanced pregnancy and/or with babies, must always be accompanied by another able-bodied person, of legal age.
- As this is a mountain excursion with inherent risks and strict national and international safety regulations for cable transport, individuals with disabilities who possess a Disability Certificate must, IN ALL CASES, be accompanied by a responsible adult companion, family member, or close friend without any restrictions. This companion must accompany and assist them at all times during the excursion (ascent/descent on the lift and exploration of the internal and external facilities at the summit). This physical accompaniment is mandatory at all times. Any violation of this requirement will result in the suspension of the permit, with the permanent loss of the excursion and the benefit granted.
- The companion of the person with a disability, or not, but who may need some special assistance, is responsible for assisting the person, and must accompany them at all times during their stay in the mountains.
- In the event of CONDITIONAL SERVICE, or RESTRICTED operation of the lift due to weather, technical, or other issues, the CABLE CARRIAGE REGULATIONS PROHIBIT ASCENT FOR THOSE REQUIRING ANY TYPE OF SPECIAL ASSISTANCE (POINT B). These individuals may return on another day when the lift is operating normally. The S.M.F. Foundation reserves the right of admission.
- Companions must complete their details at the window, as those responsible for the person with a disability.

- It is forbidden to ascend with snowboards, skis, or any other type of snow equipment not included in the activities carried out at the Complex.
- Paragliding is prohibited.

- No refund, in whole or in part, will be given for the rental of suits or snow equipment if the passenger does not ascend due to bad weather conditions.
Ascent / descent

Passenger Rules
For the use of ski lifts and activities within the areas belonging to the Resort, passengers must at all times comply with the rules indicated by the patrol, customer service, and/or lift operation staff. Passengers must remain within the designated area. Any voluntary departure into unpatrolled areas or participation in unauthorized activities is the sole responsibility of the passenger. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the immediate descent of individuals who do not adhere to the mountain's code of conduct.
In the event of a ground evacuation, it will be carried out following the established safety protocol. Passengers must remain attentive and follow the instructions of our staff and complex personnel.
Operation and conditions of use of the cable car passenger transport system
- The ascent lasts 12 minutes, in fully enclosed panoramic cable cars.
- The cable cars have a capacity for 04 (four) seated people each.
- The ascent will be carried out continuously, depending on weather conditions.
- It is not permitted to get up or change seats during the journey.
- The Complex is not responsible for any loss of any kind of items left inside the cable cars.
- The partial, sectoral or total shutdown of the means, for any reason, including causes of climatic factors and/or security and/or technical reasons, does not give the right to claim of any nature.
Status of the lift service (updated with each change on the homepage of this website):
- Normal Service: Boarding permitted to all passengers.
- Conditional Service: Possible delays due to wind and/or technical reasons.
- During days when the service operates under "Conditional" conditions, the company is not responsible for any delays caused by wind, and the delay time cannot be predicted. Passengers boarding under these conditions should be aware that their time spent at the complex will depend on the weather. We recommend that passengers with other activities planned for the same day take this into account.
- With "Conditional" Service, the lifting service by means of the means may be partially suspended, suffer suspensions for an indefinite period, and/or be permanently suspended at any time.
- In the case of promotion with a "Conditional" service warning, no claims for delays or refunds of any amount are accepted.
- Conditional Service with usage restrictions: Regarding the "Conditional" service, restrictions are added that mean that access will be limited for: women in advanced stages of pregnancy, people with reduced mobility (walking sticks, crutches, wheelchairs, etc.), the elderly, and people with a certificate of any type of disability.
- Service Suspended: The service will be totally or partially suspended due to adverse weather conditions and/or technical reasons that completely prevent ascent/descent by means of lift, and may change from conditional to suspended at any time and in any way, by application of safety protocols.
AS PER THE RULES FOR CABLE TRANSPORTATION OF PEOPLE, and solely for the purpose of user safety, THE STATION MANAGER / OPERATIONS MANAGER OF THE LIFTING METHOD has the authority to limit the ascent of people, based on the technical condition he observes of them, subject to the weather situation and operation of the lifting mechanism.
