The Summit Funicular is an internal transportation system designed to facilitate the movement of visitors once they reach the top of Cerro Otto. It does not connect the base to the summit, nor does it replace the main cable car. It was designed and built under strict safety standards, using local engineering and labor. Its operation is controlled by trained personnel to ensure reliable transportation.

So how does it work?
What it covers and how it is used
It connects the summit parking area—the arrival point for activities like sledding, snowshoeing, and the Otto Circuit—with the upper activity area, located just above.
Over a 170-meter journey, the funicular allows you to continue your visit comfortably and effortlessly, facilitating access to the activities that begin and end in that area. Its use is included only with activities that conclude there and is not part of the ticket for the ascent and admission to the complex, which is purchased at the base.
